The AD Bearings & Power Transmission community gathered in Charleston, South Carolina from August 15 to 17 for the group’s annual Network Meeting, strengthening connections and collaborating for mutual growth.

 “AD members are growing and taking market share, individually and collectively,” said Marisol Fernandez, president, electrical and industrial business unit. “This week’s Network Meeting helps our members and suppliers work to achieve their goals and add new value to their businesses – the Bearings & Power Transmission community grows stronger when we work together and share best practices.”

 Darin Davenport, president, Bearings & Power Transmission, led a group of AD leaders in the Member Business Meeting to share divisional results for the first half of 2023, AD priorities and upcoming initiatives, and program details for increased member and supplier engagement. The AD team also shared updates on the division’s Conversion Campaign results, enhancements to financial reporting, incentive programs and development opportunities in the AD Education Center and Center for Independent Distributor Leadership.

 “Our community came away from the Network Meeting with updates on the future of AD and next steps for ways to build their businesses, thanks to the conversations and network sessions this week,” said Davenport. “Thank you to our members, supplier partners, board and product committee for your continued support and for helping AD continue to provide valuable meeting experiences for our division.”

 Members, suppliers and service providers had access to numerous networking and collaboration opportunities during the week, including at the Networking Lunch, the Welcome Reception, and Informal Member & Suppler Meetings. New for this year’s gathering, the Informal Member & Supplier Meetings added time for members and suppliers to come together to plan for mutual growth and new partnerships. Key meeting sponsors Lubriplate Lubricants and Solve Industrial Motion Group led presentations about their companies and strategies to help members win together. Additionally at the Product Showcase Networking Reception, the Bearings & Power Transmission community reconnected with their peers and learned more about supplier partners’ innovations and newest products.
