Industry 4.0 becomes Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions: The renaming is due to the realignment of the service portfolio, which has been successively expanded from pure product solutions to holistic services in recent years. The new name "Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions" and the subclaim "Keep your machines rolling" symbolize the claim to serve the wishes and needs of maintenance and plant managers over the entire service life of a machine.

The keyword "sustainability" is becoming increasingly important in production and is therefore one of the most important cornerstones for the expansion and development of Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions. The focus here is on efficient and preventive maintenance. This makes a valuable contribution to the better use of resources, as it prevents unplanned downtimes in the system and helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
